The Relief Programme focus on Peace Building and in providing aid and social economic support to Urban Refugees, People Living with Disabilities, People Living with HiV/AIDs and the Rehabilitation of Vulnerable children.
Our Agriculture Programmes centres on enhancing self-reliance through building the productive capacity of farmers most of who depend almost entirely on farming.
The Self-Help Programme aims to empower communities by savings mobilization, provison of credit, investments, training and techinical support through effective and efficent coordination.
Caritas Nairobi projects are focussed in Kiambu and Nairobi County.
Project areas include:
Agriculture and Environment: Interventions in 10 locations including, Kamiti Prison, Gatundu, Munyu, Kiriko, Limuru
Microfinance: 192 Groups across Kiambu and Nairobi
Refugee Support: Eastleigh, Dagoretti, Kayole, Riruta, Satellite
Peace Building: Kariobangi and Mathare
HIV/AIDS: Mukuru kwa Njenga
Support for Vulnerable Children: Pangani and Limuru
People Living with Disability: Karuri and Mataara
Gender and Youth Empowerment: 12 locations including Makadara, Kariobangi, Mathare
